ICT Support
What We Do
Our understanding provides high quality care for your ICT equipment, and support for your staff. With informed advice and a broad knowledge, we determine to resolve your problems promptly and efficiently using straightforward technical support as well as forward, innovative thinking. In ICT it is important to keep ahead, and very easy to become outdated. Our expertise can stop the downward spiral by implementing regular maintenance of all workstations. We can also advise creative ways to get great results and really make the most of all resources available. The simplest role of our support is to keep your school up to date. We do this by installing any software you wish for within a mutually agreed timeframe. We can install anything; software, scanners, microscopes, cameras, printers, microphones or data collectors. Our experience is that the easiest way to improve ICT is to give the teachers faith in the resources they have available. We see one of the important roles of this job as building confidence; reassuring the staff and making what can be a daunting topic run a more reliable and enjoyable course. To make this work we always strive to be a visible and trusted part of every school.
Keeping you informed
On top of our commitment to always find the ICT Co-ordinator at the beginning and end of the visit, both to discuss what needs to be done, and what has been achieved; each day we will send a report via e-mail to schools administration, the head teacher and the ICT coordinator; detailing everything which was achieved in your visit, and any issues which need to be followed up. This way you know exactly what is happening.

7 hours (including 1 hour lunch break and two separate 15 minute breaks)

Up to 2 blocks per week. The full day package can be split depending upon your requirements
Description
In addition to contract basics, you are guaranteed to receive 6 hours allocated support time each week. This means that if all the reported faults are resolved our engineer can work on maintenance and prevention. This means that we can visit classrooms to check for unreported issues and schedule tasks designed to improve the running of your entire ICT infrastructure. As a result of this we can find problems before they arise.
Because of the commitment shown to ICT in your school, we will also perform emergency onsite or remote maintenance, outside of your allocated support time, in addition to the ‘always on the end of the phone’ approach of the basic contract.

Description
In addition to contract basics, you are guaranteed to receive 2 ¾ hours allocated support time each week. This means that if all the reported faults are resolved our engineer can go in search of problems that might not have been reported, by means of visiting classrooms or accessing error logs.
Because of the commitment shown to ICT in your school, we will also be happy to perform emergency onsite or remote maintenance, outside of the allocated support time, in addition to the ‘always on the end of the phone’ approach adopted by the basic contract. -
Extras
If you require extra time one week either for new software install or a particular problem which just won’t wait, in or out of school time, we can arrange to have someone with you.
This will be charged at our hourly rate.

Ofsted Support
We offer extra time in addition to our contracted time, before and during Ofsted inspections. We believe that whilst we never expect all computers to work perfectly all the time, it is important that in an inspection environment, every single resource in a school should be working. It is unfair if any possible lesson is impacted upon by the resources not being available. Our aim is to make sure that all ICT resources are functioning and available during any inspection. To this end, we can provide extra support to resolve any current emergencies, and if it is possible arrange to borrow equipment from another partner school to replace the faulty item for the duration of the inspection.
This will be charged at our daily rate.

MLE Support
We provide support for Managed Learning Environments provided by Fronter.
